The Annual Meeting of the Nichols Fire District will be held on:

Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at 7: 30 PM at the

Nichols Fire Station 1 at 100 Shelton Road Trumbull, CT 06611

The meeting will be called for the following:

·       Reading of minutes from the 2025 Annual Meeting

·       Treasurer’s Report ending April 2026

·       Tax Collector’s Report ending April 2026

·       Report from the Chief of the Department

·       2026/27 Budget Presentation & Acceptance

·       Setting the Mill Rate for the Fire Tax

·       Election of 1 Commissioner for 3-year term

 

Individuals who want to run for any open Commission position must submit their intention to run in writing at least 15 days BEFORE the April 2026 Fire Commission
meeting AND must ATTEND the April Fire Commission meeting, be nominated at
that meeting and that nomination must have a second.
The April Meeting will be held April 21, 2026 at Nichols Fire District Office
